The first thing most people notice about Grayson are his eyes…those big blue eyes and long eyelashes that elicits countless oohs and aahs.
“What do you say Grayson?” We sometimes have to remind him to use his manners when he receive a compliment.
“Thank you,” he replies sheepishly, before looking back down at his Nintendo. In some respects, Grayson is no different than any other 20-year old.
In most respects, however, Grayson’s life is very different. He takes multiple medications daily to preserve muscle strength. He struggles with normal, everyday tasks such as climbing stairs and running across the playground. He wears leg braces at night, and now has a wheelchair to help with long distances.
